We are the CardioGenomics Lab in the Department of Genomic Health at Geisinger College of Health Sciences.
Our research focuses on understanding the genetic basis of cardiac disease in population-scale cohorts, identifying early manifestations of disease in individuals with genetic risk, and determining how clinical and lifestyle factors influence disease expression.
We leverage large, deeply phenotyped resources—including MyCode, the UK Biobank, and All of Us—to study these relationships at scale. In parallel, we use advanced cardiac imaging to detect subtle, subclinical changes in individuals who carry disease-associated variants but do not yet exhibit observable clinical phenotypes.
Our long-term goal is to improve risk stratification and inform disease management strategies for individuals and families with inherited risk for cardiovascular disease.
